Warm Spring Makeup Colors

Now, to the part you’ve been waiting for! Here’s a quick dive into this beautiful warm spring makeup color palette.

Keep in mind, a consistent theme you’ll see for all of these colors is warm.

Warm Spring Eye Makeup

You can create endless warm spring makeup looks. In this case, we’re showcasing our favorite spring color combinations based on the unique features of this color type.

  • Warm blue eyes and medium golden blonde hair- This stunning eye color is rare. Therefore, we love to emphasize it with a navy liner and smokey green to bring out all of the colors. We also used a charcoal mascara.
  • Warm green eyes and medium strawberry blonde hair –  Green and red are complimentary colors on the color wheel. They look gorgeous pared together. Because of this, we didn’t want to add any additional coloring to the mix. We emphasized the natural colors by using a green shadow and liner and a warm brown mascara.
  • Hazel eyes and medium copper hair- Both the hair and eye color are very warm toned with greens, reds, and browns. We continued with this color theme and used a copper red shadow, brown liner, and brown mascara.
  • Topaz brown eyes and medium golden brown hair– Both brows and eyes have beautiful brown tones. We added brown shadow, liner, and mascara to emphasize this stunning warm natural blend.  You could dramatize this look by adding reddish brown instead of a medium warm brown. However, in this example, we like how the subtle brown really draws out the gorgeous red in the eyes and hair.

Eye Shadow

The warm spring makeup colors can sure create a gorgeous eye shadow palette. (In fact, you’ll find these tones in almost every spring eye makeup palette and maybe even a few in fall palettes.)

You have a wide variety of medium and warm options. When it comes to choosing eye shadows look for warm tones like golden browns, oranges, and greens.

The warm spring  season is dominantly light and warm and this is the same for the eye shadow colors. Avoid cooler tones like rich silvers and purple blues.

Eyeliner

Eyeliner colors for warm spring range from beautiful medium neutrals to medium and medium fashion golds, greens, and warm blue.

Again, the consistent trend here is medium and warm. Avoid cool and extremely like and dark tones.

Mascara

With  your natural coloring being in the medium shade range, you want to avoid stark dark colors. This is especially true with mascara.

Instead do toned down brown and charcoal tinted mascara if you are wanting to create a beautiful blend.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t wear black mascara. It just means your black mascara may draw attention away from your beautiful natural colors instead of adding to them. The attention may shift to your lashes first.

Brow Filler Colors

Your eyebrow pencil should match your natural hair color. Unfortunately, this sometimes mean you might need to mix and match a few shades to get that perfect shade.

The color listed on the brow filler should be labeled medium and should have warm undertones.  For example medium golden blonde or warm brown.

Warm Spring Makeup Colors for Face

Your natural skin tones will be an easy guide to help you find the perfect foundation and blush colors.

Warm springs have noticeable warm tones. (Your veins may appear greenish.) This means you’ll want to look for a W on bottles for face makeup.

Foundation

When a makeup artist color tests you for foundation, one thing they look for is undertone. When color testing a warm spring, your undertone will likely be easy to spot.

Foundation bottles almost always have undertones clearly marked on the bottle.  If you’re a warm spring, you should look for the W on the bottle. (Usually on the bottom.)

Blush

When choosing blush colors, you’ll again want to look for colors you would describe as warm.

You’ll also want to gravitate toward golden shades like golden bronzers, and warm and golden coral blush colors. Since you are medium complected, you won’t need to use much blush. Apply lightly to start and build to your perfect shade. Avoid plums and extremely dark shades.
