  • Bright blue eyes and medium ash brown hair- This stunning bright blue eye color pops even more with a cool gray shadow with a subtle bluish tint. A darker cool gray liner and a charcoal mascara helps pull in all together beautifully.
  • Bright teal eyes with dark cool brown hair- This cool green eye color pops when paired with cool reds and corals. (Red sits across from green on color wheel making it an great complimentary color.) We chose a darker charcoal liner and mascara that pairs well with the darker brown and natural lash.
  • Brown-black eyes and cool brown hair- Both the hair and eye color are cool and dark.  We chose to add to this using the coolest color of all – blue. The darker, neutral shade contrasts just enough to create an overall stunning combo.
  • Black eyes and cool black hair– Both brows and eyes the darkest tones for this color family. We added a slight contrast with medium smokey gray shadow, but also kept a blend with a darker liner.

You have a wide variety of  cool and brighter options. (Bright doesn’t always have to mean colorful – it could mean a clear contrast, too. ) When it comes to choosing eye shadows look for cool tones like grays, pinks, blues, and cool greens. 

The clear winter season is dominantly bright, clear and cool and this is the same for the eye shadow colors. Avoid warmer tones like rich golds, oranges, and yellows.

Eyeliner
